Rick Riorgan was born June 5, 1964 in San Antonio,Texas and he currently lives in San Antonio.He graduated from Alamo Heights High School in 1982. He has a series of books that he has written such as The Lightning Thief, The Sea of  Monsters, The Titans Curse, The Battle of the Labyrinth,and his final book The Last Olympian. He has a new series called 39 Clues. His favorite subject is Greek mythology, that is why he wrote his series of books. His son, Hayley was diagnosed with ADHD dyslexia. He wrote the books as a request from him.
